Why would I run a Street Party?
Our neighbourhood in southeast London has become a friendlier place. The introduction of street parties nearly 5 years ago has played a large part in it. Older folk love the all age get-togethers because it reminds them that they still belong. Children enjoy the novelty of a party with games and activities on their road. Most teenagers don’t want to miss the family fun. New families find a platform where they can meet others. Click on the picture above to read more.

Seven Steps to your Street Party
If you are just starting out, we have put together a 7 step plan to help you run your first street party. You can take as long or as little time as you want to organise your event but we'd recommend giving yourself at least 2 weeks. Depending on where you live, six weeks is a good amount of time if you need to block off your street and get permission from the council. Click on an image below and download all the information you need to work on. Have fun!
We are pleased to make these resources freely available. Producing them does cost in time and money however; if you have found them helpful in any way, we would encourage you make a donation so that we can continue serving you this way.
