Information on upcoming Breakouts in the Oxfordshire & Lancashire area.

Breakouts are daytrips for anyone aged 12-17 and they happen on the second Saturday of every month in Oxfordshire and are every six weeks in Lancashire.

They're about having fun, team-building activities, problem solving or leadership training and spending time with a bunch of people without having to worry about if you're cool. Sometimes we even get a little crazy!

Oxfordshire Breakouts

  • When is the next one?

Saturday 4th April - 11:00am til 7pm

  • What's the theme?

Lord of the Rings - Peaks District

We're having a mega early morning.  Leaving the St Mary's Centre in Haddenham at 7am for our 3hr drive, McDonalds on the way (bring some breakfast money) so that we're in the Peaks District for an 11am start.  Running through Gorges, Grass Sledging, Delving in to caves...  It's going to be so awesome.  Don't miss it.

  • Where is it?

Castleton & Hope

Lord of the Rings invite April 4th Breakout Rego Form - Oxon 500kb

The form has all the information you need - call us if it's unclear.

You need to complete a registration form in order to come on the day.

  • How much does it cost?

It costs £12 including transport, lunch, refreshments and dinner.  Bring some money for Breakfast at McD's though.  There is no earlybird option this time - but you'll need to RSVP by the 2nd to ensure your place.

  • How do I get there?
We'll be taking one minibus and a couple of cars so seats are limited.  All drivers are responsible adults over 25 and vet'd by Dan Evenhuis (National Coordinator for Fusion)

Transport will be from the St Mary's Centre, Haddenham at 7am.  However, we can arrange transport from Wheatley or Thame but you'll need to let us know by Thurs 2nd if you want this option.

  • I'd like to help with them (leading, doing promotion, sponsorship, coming up with ideas....) - can I?

Yes! We'd love that. Come along to one of the days and have a chat to a leader. A group gets together about once every six weeks (usually the Friday before a Breakout) for training, planning & food. They're the inspiration behind most of what goes on!

Commando Course to Foundations - training
fusionhistory3.jpgTraining has always been a significant part of Fusion International's work - from Christian youth & community worker training officially accredited by the Australian government, to parenting, arts weeks, media or individual mentoring & casework.
